Meryl is the daughter of Roy Campbell, the stepdaughter of Rose and lover of Drake White. She is one of the main protagonists in Isafaro and is currently seeking out the Resistance in the area after being framed for a crime she didn't commit and found guilty by General Vulture.

Meryl is a young determined woman who becomes straight out stubborn once her mind is made up on something. Coming from an all military family, Meryl is familiar with the codes and customs of being a soldier and is a well-spoken individual. All in all, Meryl has a good heart and always tries to do what's right in the end though there are times where she just falls flat.

Meryl is the daughter of Matt Campbell and the niece of Roy Campbell, both of which had served in the Isafaro Military over the years. After her father was killed in action she was raised solely by her mother and took her maiden name Silverburgh. Growing up Meryl's come to idolize her Uncle and Solid Snake from the Isafaro Elite Corp from within Isafaro's Military, even going as far as having a paint tattoo of their logo drawn on her left arm. At the age of eighteen, Meryl enlisted to the Crimson Vulture in hopes to follow in the footsteps of her father and uncle.
During the beginning of her training, Meryl would meet the three that would later become known as Isafaro's Golden Trio: Drake, Ayanna and Zach. Meryl became good friends with Ayanna and started to notice a few admiring glances from Drake. It didn't take the silver-haired wonder long to make his move, and one night while they were alone in his quarters, Drake seduced her and the two spent the night together. As time went on Meryl found herself in an affair with Drake White, continuing her training in Isafaro and unable to tell her friend, Ayanna, that she has been sleeping with the man she loved all this time. As time went on Meryl found herself in a shitstorm as far as her love life was concerned and began to use the assignments from the military to take her mind off of it.
